Beginning Band
Thursday 4:30-5:15
This class was designed for the beginning wind/percussion student. Band instruments include: flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, French horn, tuba and percussion. Students will learn to care for their instrument, read and write music, and play their instrument. This class will perform in the CFAF Winter and Spring Recitals.
Students must provide their own instrument, the Essential Elements 2000 Book One for their instrument and a folding music stand.
Students who successfully complete Book One and attend some of the summer ensemble classes will be ready to participate in the 2008 Fall Marching Band!
This class is ideal for new students ages 10 and up.
