Beginning Strings
This class is for beginners on the violin, viola, cello or bass. We cover all the basics of holding the instruments, history, care and maintenance. Students will develop skills in reading music and experience the thrill of creating music in an ensemble. This class will participate in one recital per semester. Students must provide their own instrument, the Essential Elements 2000 Book One for their instrument and folding music stand.
While this class perfect for the student age 7-14, older students, adults and parents are welcome to enroll. Younger students may be admitted with teacher permission.
