Subject: Dress Rehearsal Schedule
Tuesday’s Rehearsal Schedule!
Rehearsal is at CHALCEDON Presbyterian Church!
Please come on time for your appointed rehearsal – DO NOT COME MORE THAN 10 minutes EARLY as we don’t have space for everyone to be here at the same time!
3:00 – 4:30 ALL Instrumental groups – Orchestra (With Intermediate Strings and Advanced Strings) need to arrive at 3:00 to tune. Band students need to be present by 3:30 – Jazz Band be prepared to play at 4:00. Men’s Chorus will also rehearse within this time slot.
4:30 – 5:30 ALL Swing Groups (Swing Kids, Middle School Swing, Swing Choir and Advanced Swing) You will rehearse in that order. Swing Choir ladies may come at 4:00 to be fit for your dance costume (if you have paid the costume and performance fees).
5:30 – 6:30 or beyond – CFAF Singers and Middle School Chorus. The Elementary Chorus is NOT EXPECTED to show up for this rehearsal. You do NOT need to wear your gowns/tuxedos – but please bring your masks for Masquerade! Seniors and Alumni need to plan to stay later to rehearse your special song.
Stage Managers and Stage Hands – we need you to stay later as well to go over scene changes and props movement.
ALL Students should enter the back building ONLY until time for their group rehearsal. All instrumentalists will meet in the Band Room (first door on right) All choral groups will meet in the back right room (Mrs. Robert’s Room). All Swing group will meet in the back left room (with the red chairs). Do not bring cases, costumes, books, clothing, etc into the Fellowship Hall area.

Items we still need:
I need a bolt of blue-ish fabric. It will be unrolled and “waved” during “Under the Sea” by the Swing Kids.
Civil War costume hats – any idea where I can find some?
Flat top straw hats (like barbershop guys wear). I have 4 of these, just need another 5 hats.
____________________________________________________________________________
I will need a few of the moms to help fit Swing Choir ladies in their costumes – we’ll need masking tape or some other way to indicate which dress is for which lady.
