The Band Program
Beginning BandStudents who want to learn a wind instrument start here! We start off in Essential Elements 2000, Book One, and work our way through the book during the year. Students will learn all the techniques they need to advance to the intermediate band, and build the foundation to becoming a great musician.

Intermediate Band
A class for students who have completed Book One from any series band method book and are ready to move on to Book Two! We use Essential Elements 2000. This class is usually small and students get a lot of one-on-one instruction.

Concert Band
All of your hard work has paid off and now you're ready for concert band! This class offers students the opportunity to play high level pieces with a full band. Years of practice and hard work has set up these students to perform wonderful arrangements. The pieces are more challenging, and the satisfaction after a performance is amazing. If you've already had the training and think you're ready for concert band, come talk to one of the teachers and join the band!

Marching Band
This is a great opportunity for local homeshcool students to experience Marching Band - a unique performance ensemble! Come to Band Camp where students will learn the drill for our show. Band Camp is more than just learning drill - it is about working together as a team - playing games - making new friends - and preparing for the whole season! Once camp is complete we play during the football games for Horizon Christian Academy.

Jazz Band |
Jazz band is a fun opportunity for Concert Band level students who play a jazz instrument (Saxophone, clarinet, low brass, trumpet, percussion, guitar, bass and piano). Learn improvisation, jazz style and more in this fun ensemble class! Offered spring semester only.
