Caleb Ferreira is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at the University of North Georgia. Within the school, he has been involved in Jazz Band, Piano Ensemble, and UNG Singers. He also has experience in accompanying student performances, is an instructional assistant for music theory, and plays in a student jazz quintet. Caleb has been playing piano for 12 years, and has had the privilege of attending numerous master classes from professors at the University of Iowa, Iowa Wesleyan University, and Wartburg college. He has been involved in various solo piano competitions since 2016, and recently placed 2nd at the GMTA State Auditions in the Lower and College division. Caleb currently teaches private piano lessons to students of all levels and is a music director for local theater productions. Most of all, Caleb hopes to use his classical training to impart the joy of learning, playing, and performing music to his students.
